League of Legends Rift Bound

Riftbound is Riot Games’ League of Legends trading card game. It is new enough that sealed product is still bought to play and to open rather than purely to hold, which makes it one of the few current TCGs where the entry price is still close to retail rather than to collector pricing.

The Riftbound product in this category is Chinese-language. The Chinese release came first, so these are the earliest print runs available anywhere. The cards are standard size and the game plays identically across regions β€” the practical difference is that card text is in Chinese, so if you intend to play rather than collect, keep a card reference to hand for the decks you use.

What is here, and who each part is for. Starter Decks (Viktor, Lee Sin, Jinx, Rumble, Fiora) are pre-constructed and playable straight out of the box β€” two of them is the cheapest way for two people to learn the game without building anything. Booster Displays from the Origin and Spiritforged sets hold 24 packs each and are what you buy to open. Gift Boxes, including the Spiritforged Collector Edition, weight their contents toward showcase cards and are usually bought to keep sealed.

Because the game is early in its life, print runs and distribution are still settling and availability moves more than it does for an established set. Riftbound cards are standard size, so any sleeve from Card Sleeves fits. New to Riftbound? Start with our Riftbound starter deck guide, which covers all five pre-constructed decks and which to buy first.
